We manufacture our sustainable furniture collections with wood from fast-growing species, harvested from forests that meet internationally recognised standards under FSC guidelines. The woods that make up our furniture go through an environmentally responsible forest management process, ensuring that we obtain a high quality raw material for the manufacture of strong and durable furniture.

 

We are also proud to have PEFC Chain of Custody certification of our suppliers, reaffirming our commitment to ‘green purchasing’ regulations. Our wood purchases are made exclusively from companies that hold this certificate awarded by AENOR.

Committed to sustainability and proximity, at Muebles Orts we strive to take care of every element of our furniture to create sustainable pieces without compromising quality. The boards of our furniture are manufactured with melamine in accordance with European regulations, thus guaranteeing your health while reducing our environmental impact. 85% of these boards are recycled, and their design is optimised to use 90% of the materials, with the remainder used for packaging.

In a world where more and more people are opting for sustainable furniture, at Muebles Orts we offer home and office furniture made in Spain, with recycled and recyclable raw materials of local origin. Our dedication to the environment is reflected in the creation of designer furniture that stands out for its functionality and versatility, without losing sight of environmental responsibility.

You will find in our catalogue sustainable furniture that not only contributes to the organisation and quality of spaces, but also has a positive influence on health. Our commitment to eco-design translates into pieces that favour a healthier work and home environment, with an ergonomic design that promotes optimal posture and reduces the risk of injury. And on the other hand, all our furniture can be disassembled by pieces so that if one of them is damaged it can be replaced without the need to change the whole piece of furniture, thus minimising the amount of possible waste.

When it comes to upholstery, at Muebles Orts we use sustainable, recyclable and biodegradable PET fabrics. These fabrics, sustainably manufactured in Spain from recycled plastic bottles, offer a soft and fine texture, standing out for their comfort. Lightweight and resistant, PET fabrics maintain their colour when exposed to the sun, allowing you to use them as a decorative element in the interior of your bedroom.

Muebles Orts, S.L., aware of the need to conserve the environment and wishing to live in harmony with the environment that surrounds us, includes within its business strategy, a commitment to its customers and to society in general, adapting its processes to the applicable environmental regulations and demonstrating that it is possible to combine technological progress with respect for the environment, as well as preventing pollution and the sustainable use of natural resources.
All this always with the aim of satisfying the needs and expectations of our customers, within a framework in which continuous improvement is our working path, without losing sight of the legal requirements applicable in our work environment and in the final product, in accordance with the requirements of the UNE-EN ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards.

The Policy to achieve this objective is based on the following aspects:

  • To provide the entire company with an effective and efficient Quality System.
  • To ensure that the customer's expectations, needs, specifications and, in general, all applicable requirements are satisfied. The customer must ‘receive the required product, with the desired quantity and at the time they need it’.
  • Prevent errors from the early stages of the process. Eliminate machine failures, non-quality costs and increase productivity, ensuring that the products supplied by MUEBLES ORTS, S.L., are free of defects.
  • Continuous improvement to reduce variability and increase efficiency. This continuous improvement will be evaluated by means of quality indicators.
  • Commit to implement, disseminate and maintain an integrated management system with the aim of achieving the correct environmental behaviour in all our activity.
  • To undertake to comply with the legislation and regulations required in environmental quality processes, applying legal compliance to the company's activities and the requirements of our clients, even beyond the legal minimums that are economically and technologically viable.

The implementation and maintenance of the quality and environmental policy listed above is a special responsibility of the management, which accepts this commitment.
